Take a bag or a pillow case and put all sorts of objects found in the room inside it. It’s best to include as many different textures (wood, plastic, cloth etc.) as possible.
The child puts his or her hand in the bag and tries to feel what’s inside. He tries to guess.
It is important to give him a while to wander inside the bag. You can tell him to take his time, feel every object and only then decide which one to take out.
Through this exercise we also practice patience, observing and presence.
